The News page of Content Nation is used by Content Nation members to post new items of interest found both on Content Nation and elsewhere on the Web. You can:

  • Use it as a weblogging tool
  • Expose member pages as news
  • Add links to news on the Web

Be default any item posted on Content Nation is available only to members. But by categorizing an item as "public" any person or search engine visiting Content Nation can view it as well. This allows you to use Content Nation both as a tool for informing members and as a tool for attracting the public.

You may use the News pages to bookmark newsworthy items on the Web either by creating an entry manually or by using the "bookmarklet" tool at the bottom of the News page. Click on the "Post to Content Nation" found there and drag it onto your browser bar. When you find a page that you want to add to Content Nation news just click on the "Post to Content Nation" link in the browser bar and it will open a news item in Content Nation with a link to the news page already entered. You can add commentary and categorization to the entry if you want also. NOTE: you must be already logged in to Content Nation for this feature to work.

Give this feature a try and enrich our news!
